Straightforward single-sided issuance
Entrust Sigma DS1
The DS1 is a practical starting point for organisations producing staff IDs, membership cards or visitor badges. Its single-sided format suits credentials with the essential details on the front, including cards with a preprinted reverse.
- 300 dpi direct-to-card printing.
- Up to 175 single-sided full-colour cards per hour.
- 125-card input hopper and USB connectivity as standard.

Flexible printing for growing teams
Entrust Sigma DS2
The DS2 adds capacity and network connectivity for regular ID card production. Single- or dual-sided configurations support layouts with a photograph and name on the front, and instructions, contact details or other information on the reverse.

- Up to 225 full-colour single-sided or 140 dual-sided cards per hour.
- USB and Ethernet connectivity as standard.
- Optional magnetic stripe and contact/contactless smart card encoding.
Higher throughput and expansion
Entrust Sigma DS3
The DS3 suits busier card offices and organisations planning to expand their issuance capabilities. It combines faster printing with options for encoding and handling multiple card types, making it a strong choice for staff, campus and access credentials.
- 300 dpi single- or dual-sided direct-to-card printing.
- Up to 250 full-colour single-sided or 180 dual-sided cards per hour.
- USB and Ethernet connectivity as standard.
- Optional six-compartment, 750-card multi-hopper and compatible smart card encoding.
Speeds are manufacturer “up to” ratings for printer-only operation. Actual throughput varies with artwork, ribbon, encoding and configuration. Which Entrust Sigma printer should we choose?
The DS1 is a starting point for single-sided cards. Consider the DS2 for networked printing and dual-sided requirements, or the DS3 for higher throughput and additional card-handling options. Share your expected volumes and card design with CTS so we can recommend a suitable configuration.
Can we print on CTS preprinted cards?
Yes. We can prepare preprinted cards for compatible Entrust personalisation. Card construction, artwork placement and ribbon selection should be agreed together, particularly when the card incorporates a chip, magnetic stripe or additional security features.
